Thank you to everyone who supported the open letter to Congress opposing the amendments that would severely limit federal employee attendance at meetings and conferences. The letter has over 2,000 signatures from all 50 states plus DC and Puerto Rico, and will be delivered to every Congressional office today. We appreciate the overwhelming show of support we saw last week. Our efforts on this issue will continue, however, as ASAE will continue meeting with key Congressional offices to personally deliver the signatures and educate the offices on the negative consequences of the amendments. ASAE is asking that your organization reach out to the Congressional offices and staff with which you work to share the letter and your opposition to the issue.
